personally i think it looks more sinister w/ the lights how he has them now, just accented w the black...if he tints them all the way itll just look like some trendy guy just "murdering out" his car(black wheels, black car, black lights, very dark tint, big-o stereo...) like they do on tv...

i think personally it looks better w/ some color w/ something else ..not just completely monotonely all blacked out...but thats just me...and it's his car...lol

It is a PITA to keep clean.

I was going for a hotrod theme...maybe once the pin-striping is done it will look different...I didn't want to give the police a reason to stop me (other then the obvious.), I believe tinted lights are illegal.

The form follows function. I need the hatch cause I use a wheelchair, it's so much easier to move stuff around with the gaping hole at the back.

Yeah, I agree. The front of the car, which was painted previously by rattle can, looks poor in certain light (daylight, lol). I have some new fenders coming and once they are in the whole car is getting another coat. Another reason the front looks bad is because it was bathed in compressor oil...my first compressor exploded showering my entire garage... Including the front of the car, I used a cleaner to remove the oil, leaving streaks.

Exactly, my only real criteria was cheap...The wheels are getting a coat of candy red, and I am getting some pin-striping done with RalliArt colors. Those things may or may not happen next year.

i think that'll look sweet...ive always thought of sumn like that...tuner w/ a hotrod theme...and the ra colors would look pretty cool...and the candy red would probably just give it that extra something
a while back in some european tuner magazine, i saw some guy somewhere in europe(france i think..?) had a flat colored(i think it was dark gray or black) slammed hatchback, on airbags and he had it pin striped hotrod style..he even had the painter pinstripe inside the wheelwell and on the shocks and springs(both of wich were re-painted to match the car)..it looked pretty sweet

i keep thinking ill paint my wheels red(most likely) and the calipers orage(im tired of seeing every1 having red calipers)...(plus orange wheels might be a bit too much on my car...lol)....but i think white would look good too(maybe had to keep clean tho), but since i ahve 4 bent wheels i might never get around to it...ill just drive around w bent wheels forever lol...i also want 17's (but i just got new 16" tires about 2 weeks ago...so maybe in a few years)

anyway back to topic...looking good man...keep up the good work

Lol he said "gaping hole" haha. It doesn't look bad. It's impossible to get a good flow with a rattle can. DeVilbiss GTI or Finishline ftw. I'm doing a 3rd set of Enkei rims today in Harley-Davidson texture black I'll post a pic. After being a wrench for so long, it's so peaceful painting, I love it.
