Noise from rear windows

I have a question for the minds. My rear windows make a sound when I first roll them down. It sounds like they are stuck to the rubber and break loose. The front ones do not have this problem. I have tried different window cleaners, thinking some might leave a film that makes it stick with no luck. I am checking to see if others have had this happen. Thanks in advance.

Mine do that the odd time aswell...especially after it rains and has time to dry. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless its scratching the glass.

Spray the rubber with silicone lube. Do the same for the door, trunk & bonnet gaskets too.

sometimes i do have a kind of "rubber is stuck on the glass" noise sometimes but like said above...dont worry unless it starts to scratch the glass and maybe try some silicone lube on the rubber...

PS: speaking of windows...does any1 else's window move like 2in. if u grab the glass and pull it up/down(so long as its not full open or full closed position)..?
doesnt seem to affect anything but i noticed this recently cleaning the windows...i havent goten into checking it out but i know the glass is not detached fromt he regulator(aka moving mechanism)...

Thanks for the tips. It does not scratch the glass, but just sounds hurtful to me. I am picky. I will check into the silicon lube on the rubber. Also, about the windows moving, almost all will to some extent. Mine are tight for now. I have cleaned new car windows and had them move a bit. Might be just a simple tighten of the mechanism.

It doesn't stay wet, it has a residual effect.

have you checked to see if the rubber around the windows is fully seated? my brother had this problem on his windows when he got his windows tinted.

This. I treat all those rubber surfaces, and it really pays off over the years. Silicone spray is mandatory treatment for older Subarus where there is no metal door frame surrounding the windows, the glass just presses against big rubber seals; siliconing the rubber every few months stops all noises and keeps the rubber looking new for a decade.

Any excess silicone just wipes off the glass, cannot hurt anything.

Do this during the winter and glass/metal will never freeze to the rubber seals - your doors will not stick shut and the windows will always wind down.

Interestingly, I've noticed most people don't do this kind of upkeep.
