Reviving the beast

Going to revive the beast from the dead to take NA to a whole new level. I have no idea what the times are now for NA but Im going for single digits now. Once shes running again I give updates and pictures as progress of the build continues and maybe even sell some of the items I have used for running 12s. Hope to be up and going for next season to give the competition a run for its money.

That's awesome, how much power do you think you'll be needing to at least touch the 9's? I think it'll be a long way but if hondas can do it, we are just a diet and a well built & tuned engine away.

Good luck SSP! As someone who's given me some advice in the past you seem to have the right head on your shoulders so I know you'll be the one to pull it off.

You looking to run higher compression, and put it on a diet? What kind of plans have you been tooling around with? Im interested. LOL

Putting the car on a diet, high compression and changes to the car. I have tossed around the idea of ITBs but not really what i want atm. I will try my best to reach there and help others who want to do the same

Sounds great SSP be sure to take some pic and keep us updated this go around. I remember last time you just went for stock to 12.7 lol and we didn't get to see the journey

As for the ITBs , there are a few threads on them (search it up)but never were they completed. Pr-mivec was piecing together something using parts from a hayabusa.

Ya sorry about previous time. This time will be different. The size of the ITBs depends on the output you want to achieve. The hayabusa tb i dont think will give me the power output i want but i have to do the math on it. The biggest problem with ITBs on the ralliart is getting proper cold air flow and making filters. Ive tuned and modified Hillborn and Keinsler stack injection on V8s. We will see

for the ITBs would you switch over to throttle-by-cable or is there a way to make the throttle-by-wire work for each? and maybe some sort of wrx-esque hood scoop could get good airflow to them.

would be alittle tricky considering our intake manifold is soo close to the firewall. To get any kind of length for the runners would potentially kill good flow to the chambers plus interferance with the strut brace.
