H Brace Questions

So i was going to attempt to put in my new H Brace today when i came across a few issues. First off was one I knew to expect which involved grinding the tip of the brace so that you can still get to your oil filter. However i ran into problems at the other thdee corners of the brace as well. In the back the bolts i am supposed to attach the brace at are surrounded by metal lips on each side that would require cutting. And on the driver side the transmission is too close for the brace to fit. Again it would require grinding away most of the corner of the brace.

My question now is has everyone thats installed this brace had to do this much cutting? or is it probably because of the differences between the auto and manual RAs?

Ill link pics as soon as they upload.

I had one for a few years and damm it was pretty but that's about it. Only thing it actually did was save my exhaust over speed bumps.

It is intended to increase chassis rigidity for suspension purposes to help the car handle better.

Unless you are highly modified suspension set up wise I highly doubt that the average person would notice any difference.

You might notice if you had all the suspension mods possible and were corner balanced and constantly testing this part at a track and then maybe you would notice something.

Bottom line is, it serves a purpose but more or less is another piece of car bling
