Modified stock airbox
Modified stock airbox
Well Saturday I felt like doing a minor change to the air intake for the RA. I plugged all three of the resignators. This did not give me 50 hp
, but I did feel a way better response in the throttle at low rpm. It is a pretty simple mod to do. I used two rubber corks from Lowes for two of them. The other, I cut a piece from one of the resignators and screwed it to cover the square hole. I would have taken pics, but I forgot. I just wanted to let those with the stock setup know of a little trick. I did fill up my tank that same day, so maybe some MPGs will be on the rise.
