NEW to evolutionm.net
Hello everyone,
I am new to this site, and had talks with members on this site who were extremely helpful to me. I feel like this is a nice place for me to socialize about my model car.
I currently own a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback Ralliart 2.4L MIVEC (SILVER). This car is great overall, and I'm sure the enthusiast on this site would agree. EVO IX WAGON is on the other side of the world, but this model I have is close to it.
Thank you very much, and hope to be a part of this community.
Thank you,
SBRA

Welcome to Evolutionm.net !!!! It's nice to see new 1st generation ralliart owners popping up even better that you have a wagon. Since the wagons have becaome even more rare than the ralliart itself.

Hello,
sounds good
And so far, I havent gotten too spectacular on it, I'm sort of planning what to put on it. No bodywork done, but the only few things I put was
--headers
--Injen intake (Short Ram)
--Tein s-tech, which I took off (which I still have, and willing to sell)
--ECU chip that I never had a chance to program it
--Magnaflow exhaust
--RPM Pulley
On looks, its stock. It does need a paintjob, and new front/rear bumper. The paint isn't super bad, but theres chips if you look for them. I got $4000 that I am willing to put down on the appearance, and to fix the minors. If you guys got any ideas, or links from trusted merchants you recently dealt with, let me know, it will be greatly appreciated.
Besides that, I was looking into coilovers, like Megan, BC, or even go back to Tein. Anyone experience Megan's or BC's?
I will post pictures, just need a car wash.
Thank you for your kind reply, and hope to hear more soon,

Welcome dude!
And as far as the coilover question, I've had experience with Megan products (not on this car mind you), and have had friends who have used BC. I prefer Megan personally, the ride seems a bit better, there also seem to be more adjusting options and I think for our model they are a bit cheaper brand new than the BC's.

Hahaha! Most likely ill take pictures today.

I was actually thinking the same thing in price concern. The thing is that I'm in NY, and roads are the worst in this state. When it snows here, the trucks tossed tons of salt like rice at a wedding. I had Tein shocks S-Tech, and took them off thinking the shocks are blown, but I think it was the Control Arm/Bushing/ or even its not lubed enough.
But going back to what your were saying, If Megan has more capabilities in option, then ill get into those.
Now, one question, does anyone know where I could get a bushing for the CA [CTRL ARM] ?
Thank you guys for your kind help and advice.

No my RAs body is pretty stock only did a little bit of front and rear lip repairing.. Is it a manual transmission or automatic? With 4k in your pocket I tell you to go the turbo route before cosmetics but that's my opinion I'm more of a sleeper type of person.. What kind of header do you have?

And today, I had a recent issue with my drivers door. The lock wont lock or unlock with my alarm, but only with my key. Does anyone know pretty much a easy solution?
Thank you all, greatly appreciated.

Hahaha I have that same problem doesn't bug me though... I figure the rod clip just broke and the door panel has to come off no easy way around it that I know of plus messing with rods and clips is no easy task for a big armed guy like myself
Sucks you don't have a manual the turbo setup would have been easier if you ever plan to go that route.. How do you like them?
