Evolved from the RA to Evo-dom
About this time last year I made a topic as a joke about my girlfriend at the time buying me an Evo for my birthday...
It was actually an RC car with a touch screen controlled remote.
Well, I stumbled upon a X last month that was fairly similar to that RC car, and for a really good price. I kept on looking at the autotrader ad every other day so, eventually I inquired about it. Did my homework on the car, and jumped on it.
(I was playing with my in-camera photo editing after snapping some pics after a detail, so these images will vary)
For the time being, I'm letting my room mate drive my RA. He's been out of a car for awhile, the last car he owned was an Evo 8, I figure he could get some enjoyment out of the RA before I sell it to one of my interested friends (or even to my room mate if he's interested, but he's stuck on owning an Evo 8/9 in the future)
It's been a good run with the RA but I simply couldn't resist it. I'm considering this a birthday present to myself haha.
I'll still lurk these forums though, all you regulars have been a great help over the past few years, so thanks for that

Well any of you that know me , know I'm not ecstatic about this.... But congrats none the less , be ready for the pm's to start flowing from people wanting to pick through the bones.

I can't really touch this thing, I've got warranty until 2017. But I can probably get away with a drop in filter and cat back exhaust.
This car is sooo much better for our climate. The only thing I don't get is we don't get dealer installed block heaters because "these cars can handle firing up from -50C" (in which case, the car sure sounded good when I fired it up at -48C this morning... the RA wouldn't even turn over yesterday, barely got going today)
When I sell my RA it will be going to someone that I know, will get to see it frequently. I'll give them a finger wag if I see them doing something inappropriate, as far as RA's go haha.

Not a lick or hint of modification done to it or in it's service history, previous owner is a straight shooter that drove it to work and back.
