Torque Solution Front Mount

Hey guys so I have to change my front mount. I was reading about the torque solution mount that the evo 8/9 guys are using im guessing it will work on our cars.
Im thinking of ordering one. Wondering if anyone has any input on it?

Yeah im not worried on the fitment issues, I was just wondering if its better than the Blox mount. Also if it was less stiff.

The Blox is 90A Durometer, the Torque Solutions is 75A, so the Blox is stiffer.

Yes the crossmember fits but you only need one or the other. The aluminum crossmember has a solid mount welded on

Do you know if there a big improvement with it over the stock crossmember? You think since its aluminum it will shake more in the cabin?

I think the vibration would be nearly the same. It's made to help save every pound possible.

never heard of an aluminium crossmember for our cars......
(not that i know about every product out there that is or works on our cars...)
but if it's made of aluminium i'd assume it's only for the weigth savings and the rigidity of it should be about/if not the same as the oe crossmember...
if it's softer there could be major issues...right?
i can't imagine how it'd be different tho...specially if it's for evos...

altho since aluminum is softer maybe it's more reinforced(for strength), making it stiffer, so it transfers more vibrations to the chassis/cabin?...
but i higly doubt it...(not that i'm an engineer or designer either tho...)
but if you're putting on a solid mount(wich apparently it comes welded on) it probably doesn't matter because you're already increasing the vibrations to the chassis/cabin...

Its not for our car its for the Evo 8/9. Anyways I've decided to go with the stock Evo mount. Better and wont get a vibration

Im a noise freak. I have a few loose things in the cabin so with a solid mount and the vibration it would cause I would literally go crazy. The stock Evo is an upgrade to ours and wont cause vibration and will be sufficient for my future boosting plans

solid mounts are better for high horse power...if you keep rubber engine mounts, you will get brutal wheel hop...

damper adjustable coilovers, super sticky tires, and solid motor mounts should keep it to a minimum...

you'll never be able to make it never happen, but it will help
