Honestly, i rather have a high powered car but ugly looks. You can always have body kits or replace hoods, trunks (if you can), and find a new bumper. If you really hate the 2004 Lancer, you can order a Ralliart engine and put it in your older versions, that might work. But the bad part about that its not cost efficient. So this comes hand in hand. Power or looks.

 

I actually like the New Lancer Ralliart, it's one of the reason's I bought one. Plus I think this motor has lot's of potential especially if a guy from P.R. is running 14psi on it. Sometimes personally I take power over looks but I think this car has both looks and power.

 

Yeah most people slamming it drive OZ's and just keep proving the point that they are just pissed off they have the lower version now. I liked it then and I like it now, and I'm keeping it.

P.S.: If you say ^this is going off on the OZ people, well look what you people wrote about the RA, so don't whine to us if u dont like that we call YOUR car, and I quote, "Fugly."

 

HA HA HA HA this is funny because I it's so true. I had some guy with a OZ post on my cardomain site saying my car was ugly but when I looked at his it looked like sh*t. But like you said they're just pissed because we have a car that's better all around, suspension, looks, tires, engine, and I love the seats in this car also, they are comfortable. I drove the car 300 miles and I have back problem's and they didn't hurt my back like most seats do.

 

Definitely agree, the seats may very well be my favorite part about the car. And I love the look. It definitely turns heads when I roll past. I think it's a great looking car, as well as a great performing car.

And you know, I liked the older style OZ's too...I'm a Mitsu fan in general. I still stand by my belief that the problem is that people are judging this car by what they see in pictures. YOU GOTTA SEE THE CAR IN PERSON. Then make your point.

 

Yeah the pictures don't do it justice, when you see it in person and drive it I'm sure people would like it, I know I did.

for me its like this, ya get an OZ if you care about how your ride looks, you get a ralliart if you need to spank civics and make up for your inadequacies in the sac. Whatever, both nice, just depends on what you want from a car.

 

i prefer the looks of the OZ much more and its going to have power after i turbo it in the fall.

 

People need to stop hating. The Ralliarts look fine. And for all doubters, they look even better with Accolade kits.

I'm a fan of ALL Lancers (even you poseur OZ-cars , I think a little discussion on the difference in performance and handling has turned into an all-out feud.

 

I like it...but then maybe I'm crazy b/c I like the look of the Saturn SC-2 I have right now...it has clean lines, but disappointing peroformance...the Saturn..

The Ralliart is just that...a car that looks like it could rally, but still no EVO, and is in fact art...

Lots of people don't like the front grill, personally I like it...and sure as hell like it a lot better then the lancer grills of old.

 

That was the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You think you'll see older folks driving the 04? Go to the ages section of 04 RalliArt owners and you'll see the ages most posted are 18-24. And another thing... you said an 03 can be as fast or faster then an 04? Yeah, that is true, if we decided to leave our 04 RalliArts stock then it would be possible. Note - The fastest 02-03 Lancer in America is a mid 13 second car. That's not that fast. A few good mods under the hood of a RA and we could see low 13's to high 12's pretty easily. And there's a bunch of cars that are ugly as hell until they have kits on them. Kits add style. I bet if you had an 04 RalliArt fall into your hands suddenly you'd be on the RA owners side and you wouldn't have the opinion you do now. Don't hate us because your engine looks like it came from a lawn mower. Appreciate

 

Whats with all these OZ lancers hating on the front end of the ralliart, not like you guys ever get to see the front end anyways, you're always looking at my tailights.

anyways... i like the ralliart. only thing i dont like are the headlights and grill, but this problem is easily solved just by putting on eyelids on the headlights. For the grill, just get a different one.

These tiny mods can make the RA look perfect in my opinion
