lips, side skirts, bumpers and other such things

Hey guys, my front lip is off, I've done some glue and jb weld type repairs and such. I've looked into aftermarket lips with no such success... my friend bought one that didn't fit, and I just can't find one that isn't from rrm... has anyone had any success finding a lip for the front and or some sort of rear diffuser that doesn't look stupid? Thanks

Here's the oem lip.

Here's an interesting lip, not my style but whatever.

Those are the only two I could find with a quick search on eBay, I think it's Accolade that makes body kits for our cars, there's a couple sweet rear bumpers I've seen, I'll try to find em.

The only other place I know that sells a lip for our RA. IMO this is probably the best looking lip u can find. The Fiberglass one is apparently sold out, don't know if they will ever actually restock. The CF one is there tho.

The 2nd lip off of E-bay won't fit. Somebody else on the forum bought it, but it was too narrow since it is made for Lancers in Asia where their cars tend to be smaller than our's.

use window weld...it has enough flex as to not crack when flex is needed, glues and epoxy don't work that well...i used epoxy on mine but with fiber glass tape.

I re-attached my rear lip to those clips via jb weld, so far its holding up, haven't had time to tackle.the front lip main break, I fixed all the cracks in it just not the part where it became 2 pieces. I'm looking to sell my RA soon, I mean I love it but.... evo fever

BTW my rear lip is busted up too and i might try to use window weld or jb weld (whatever that is lol)..are there things i need to do to prep the lip and bumper before welding?..only thing i can think of is: clean it and make sure there are no debris around the area to be welded on..but how do i get it to stick? i think i'm going to need to read a write-up on this one lol..

jb weld is awesome stuff, but you want something that will flex and take vibration without cracking.
