Question RA Interior Work Help?

Im looking to do some fairly heavy interior work on my 2004 Lancer, just to personalize it even further.. But after a fairly long period of searching, I can't seem to find sites that offer the small things like; Ralliart/Coloured Pedal covers, shifter boots, floor mats, door panel parts (Chrome handles, black panels, etc) and the actual "carpet" on the ground of the lancer.

Another question I have is; Is it true that Evo 8/9 & 06 RA parts fit 04 RA's? If so, it will help with the reconditioning of consoles, dashes, doors, Etc.. (Previous owner treated the car like absolute garbage :/ )

I am fairly new to forums and have always ended up on EvoM from google anyways so hopefully you guys can help me out here and become apart of the community

Any help or thoughts would be helpful and much appreciated, Thanks for looking!

So Evo parts, yes.. Same for newer RA model parts aswell? And I've also been all over lancershop.com and was hoping for some other websites that people know/have used before.

Welcome Ombra, where in Canada do you reside?

The only interior "upgrades" I've done are; painting the dash inserts and center console (they were worn out and needed to be refreshed), aluminum pedal covers, switched the 06 arm rest for the 04 arm rest (the 06 doesn't have the upper chamber and is a little lower), aluminum gauge surround, probably some other stuff I'm forgetting...

I hope that helps, and once again welcome to the club.

Entire interior from the evo 8-9 series should fit aside from the rear seats and steering wheels depending on what year RA you have. Rear seats I know take a little modification but can be done.

Newer RA I dont think you can swap stuff.

I live in Saskatchewan, Regina to be exact. But yes, those are and sound like some of the upgrades/mods/exchanges I plan on doing with my car. Seeing as you drive an 04 RA you already know and have experienced with the dash and center console. I was thinking of putting in the evo's black dash trim, along with carbon fiber trim across the front where the vents fit. Along the same idea for the center console and cup holders. As I found on the site earlier that the cupholders do fit, just slightly smaller because of something specific on the Evo. As for your second post, Ive already been to RRM and that's where I got my blacked Tail heights and black HID's, I've been all over the Internet searching and was wondering if anyone had found hidden gem sites or sites that just specialized in shifter boots or like AC gauges and stuff.

And thanks for the welcome, I have already read and found helpful stuff regarding other small tweaks or problems to watch for.

I have a 2004 RA so hopefully some of the dash and door panels should fit. It's what I'm lookin to go for mostly, refurbish the blacked out interior look and add some specality chrome for that extra touch haha. But thank you for sharing that, I can imagine finding parts/replacements will be easier knowing I can go Evo8/9 for some parts.

Will be posting pictures when it's all done.

Ahhh, good ol' Regina I spent a month there one week. I did some communications work at the Atlas facility. An IP connected digital repeater system...I digress.

I look forward to seeing some pictures of your handy work.

I guess if our rails are the same mounting points, then yes. But someone will have to confirm that.

Well then... Can anyone confirm this? I have found a full four set(Front/Back) of Black Evo 8 RS doors that would fit my model, but I don't see a point in paying for only half of a useable set.

Anyone able to give more of an insight in this?

Haha, yes.. "Good ol' Regina" .. The city of ****ty roads and the reason I will not be slamming my car.

Anyways.. I'll try to keep updated, I'll start posting pictures and stuff as progress pictures later. Most likely on my profile to keep the thread clean. But I just ordered a new Center Console, literally a few moments ago and that should be in by the end of the month. So I guess.. This.. This is the beginning of a long and rewarding road ahead
