Does your car have an aftermarket sound system? Subwoofer control maybe?

Looks like one of those things from progressive that you plug into the obd2 connector or one of things that claim to give you 30hp and 10mpg

A "too big" picture is better than a "too small"pictures. lol

Are you talking about the other port next to the OBD-II port?

I zoomed in on this pictures as best as I could and just went out to my car to look and see what it is your talking about. Assuming that the white port there is the port next to the OBDII and that the white box is part of your HVAC. Then your gas pedal would be to the bottom left of the picture just out of frame. But the black thing that looks like it has some kind of dial in it and is attached to something white that goes in front of the HVAC but behind that metal support there. I dont have it. There is nothing there in my car...

You have a 2006 model right? Is it auto or manual? Maybe its something they added later. But my '04 Auto does not have whatever that is... Maybe someone with an '06 can look under their dash to see if they have something similar.

Yes I have this thing also, I think Hackish told me once what it was for...Is it not part of the flashing port? Because I think I took a wire from that connector and plugged it into my OBD-II port in order to flash my own ECU. I'll look after work.
