Are you wanting to make the engine faster or the car faster? What are you using it for? Drag racing, Road Racing, Autocross, Spirited drives on country roads? lol knowing your goal or use would be more effective way of building your car.

Roadracemotorsports makes a lot of stuff. You can call em and they'll recommend you what you need.

$1000 at roadrace wont last long. Their parts are expensive and can usually be found cheaper elsewhere.

Tell us more about your car and your goals and we'll be able to point you in good direction.

Nothing's going to gain you much on a naturally aspirated four.

So its manual and already has a cold air intake and N2O?

Well I maybe would get an under drive pulley. It claims to free up some HP but I mostly noticed that RPMs raised quicker. Maybe a little exhaust work. I think lanzer has one big resonator and a muffler it sounds awesome and I could imagine it being more effective than having a cat choking it up. Stock header is actually really good from what I have read. Then get the tune from hackish.

Any spare cash I would put toward suspension mods. They can make a night and day difference in the ride and handling.

LMAO! hackFISH greatest typo ever!

No turbos arent cheap at all 2-3000 would get you into the homemade turbo ball park. But really the sky is the limit depending on how far you want to go with a turbo setup.

HACKISH is a guy in Ottawa Canada that has cracked our ECU and thus can program it for better performance. If you get a tactrix cable and get ahold of him or OttRalliart then they can set you up with the tune. Several members on here have it and absolutely love it. You can reach them at UVtune@gmail.com

Regardless though. Given your current setup you may gain a little bit here or there. But if your really wanting to make power you need to either begin piecing together a turbo kit or saving up for a supercharger. Hackish can tune for either of them as he used OttRalliart's RA to test both. Ive witnessed the power of forced induction on these cars on multiple occasions now and its really the only way your going to make the car really come alive power-wise.
