Exahust Sound Clips [MERGED]
It sounds like you are getting backfire or something, or maybe it is just me. Hope the one today sounds better, that one is really quiet with a lot of bg noise. But it sounds all right from what I can hear.
I got bored. So now not only do I have a clip of my cars exhaust. I have a video. Watch it!

It would sound better if I wasn't using a computer mic, but It aint that bad
And the chirping you'll hear in the video is from my neighbors alarms doing the "warning chirp" from my exhaust setting it off. Enjoy
And the audio is somewhat faint so you might have to turn your speakers up near full blast to pick it up. Hey, atleast I tried

If you had a DVD-ROM Drive, and a DVD CamCorder, you can just pop in the disk and rip it, however these are extremely expensive, and I actually dont reccomend em due to some playback issues, price of disks, and the length of em.
THe card you talking about is prob. a FireWire (IEEE-1394 I believe) card, which provides faster transfer than usb (unless you have usb 2.0, which is just about the same speeds) but chances are you don't have that card, as they don't come stock really on anycomputers yet.

Usb2.0> Firewire.
And almost every camera nowadays automatically captures the movie in Quiktime format (GOD I F'N HATE QUICKTIME) but, you can post it right from the camera more often than not... most have a usb connection for auto-copying. and they should transfer over in a .mov unless it's a microsoft regulated camera (some higher end sony's do this) should copy over then as a .WMV or .MPG file.
