it should fit...IIRC the OE piping size is 2.25 or just a hair bigger

but 4in outlet seems a bit huge for me...
it won't do any difference aside from sound and looks if that's what you're after

if you take it to an exhaust shop for install they'll probably need to weld on a hanger for it..and if there's any discrepancy in size the shop knows what to do to make it fit..

4" out is not bad..i have a 3.5in out and it looks pretty normal...with a straight can, you'll need some fab work, and with that length, it might have to be angled out the back, because or stock setup is an oval offset-offset.

Well i would like to get a magnaflow muffler. So if you go onto the magnaflow website and go to mufflers/exhaust tips with the 06 lancer ra info typed in, which would be the best one to get that would fit the easiest in any of your opinions? Im just new at this...

you're going to need it welded in, your best bet is to get under the car, take some measurements so you know what will fit, and what won't, then choose a muffler you'll like and any decent muffler shop should be able to fit it.

I have a can with a 2.5" inlet and 4" outlet, it slid right over the stock piping when I cut the muffler off. You can run it straight, or modify the piping and have it angled.
