My keyless entry key fob only wants to work half the time. The key fob was broke and I replaced the plastic housing but it seems like it only wants to lock all the doors but the driver door. I will hit the button a couple times but it still don't lock the driver door. Is there a reset code or something to reset it or something I have to take to a dealer?

 

maybe it's broken...one of mine, I have to press it as hard as I possibly can, lol

 

from insode the car does your lock/unlock button work the driver door's lock? Mine did the same thing but its something in the door. Not the key itself.

 

the button on the drivers door works and everything locks if I turn the key in the door. its just the key fob will work and the horn will beep. Then like later that day it stops honking and locking the driver door but all the other doors lock. its almost like its being picky on when it wants to work.

 

If I remember correctly, if the one or more of the doors isn't closed all the way, or the sensor thinks it's not, it won't beep...so like bakuro says, it could be something in the door.
