Exhaust systems
According to ROCK from RRM in this thread the Ralliart already has 2.25 cat-back exhaust.

Clapp,
Post a picture of this new Mitsu muffler you got. A full stainless exhaust is std. equipment on US spec RA's. Also, could you get a part number for that muffler? It'd be very interesting if another muffler was available...
Maybe he sold you an EVO muffler??

I went through that whole thing trying to find a canadian dealer I had no luck so instead I talked to nick_622 and he told me about the magnaflow he has on his car. I went out and got the exact same one and it is PIMP! Canadian Tire (believe it or not) has it and its the lowest price that I found in the city. I went to Specs on 32 Ave next to impressions and the rasta dude there hooked me up he did an awsome job and a really good price. The magnaflow is nuts. Nice deep sound with a 4 in tip. You can always try that if you can't find the RRM axleback. PM me I live in Shawnessy, if you want to see it and hear how it sounds before you make a decision, well meet up.
For the magnaflow I paid $140 and then install was $90. I went to Canadian Tire in Shawnessy and they had the muffler there. They were the cheapest I found in the city, others quoted me anywhere from 160-350. As for install I got the guy at specs to do it for me. He built the hangers and welded it on. He did a good job too. Specs is right next to Impressions Auto Trenz on 32 AVE. I'm insanely happy with it. Once you pass 3500rpm it has this nice deep grab you buy the nuts and shake sound. Mind you if its not deep enough for you you can get the race series style muffler, but those are crazy loud (hot rod loud).
I meet up with Rydog so he could hear it before he made a decision and seeing as how your in Calgary as well I have no problems meeting you as well if you want. just pm me and we'll set up at time.

I just picked mine up after Specs finished with it and it rules!!!!!!! They did an amazing job, perfectly centered (i made a point of telling him i wanted it dead center) and it sounds kick ***. super nice tip too.
it totally rules and is identical to the RRM one for $300 USD. Only difference is that the piping on the RRM one is mandrel bent. big deal. i asked the exhaust guy if that would make much difference and he said "about a quarter of a horsepower and same for torque". big freakin deal eh. so yeah, instead of paying $300 USD, plus S&H, plus tax to get it here from RRM, i made my own. RRM exhaust would have cost me just over $500 CDN by the time I got it here, whereas this setup cost me $245 incl Tax AND install.
I have to give a big shout out to Fifty, who did this first and told me all about it. Thanks man!!!!
May the rest of you follow in Fifty's wise footsteps so as not to get bent over for the exact same product.
Peace!
