Ignition problem need help

Hey guys so my Ralliart finally gave out. The way I would start it while I'll turn the key I give it inward pressure.I did this so much that I bent the key slightly and left calluses on my finger.. i know its not the starter already so i came down to the ignition cylinder/switch but I dont know if it could be something else .what im really asking is has anybody has had this problem and if so any tips or recommendations on the installation and parts? Any advice is good advice
-thanks

I would say it's most definitely the ignition switch, if jiggling, forcefully turning etc. had previously alleviated the symptoms...the only other thing in the circuit is the range switch on an auto, and a relay/clutch switch on the manual...

That is wat I was originally thinking but I wanted an second opinion from the experts.is it necessary too take the steering wheel off for the installation process ?

yes, you will need to remove it...be mindful of the clockspring, and airbag module...you may want to consult the service manual...you can't go wrong by the book.
