New fuel pump, car wont start
I have got an 06 ralliart, and one day the car wouldnt start. I didnt hear the fuel pump engage, so I replaced it and its got power and it hums. I took the hose off the pump and it sprayed gas out of it, so there is pressure in the tank. This didnt solve the problem though. I pulled the spark plugs out and two of thw four springs in the coil packs were wet. The corresponding plugs had a little liquid that looked like oil on them. The other two were fine however. I pested for spark and there was none. How would I resolve this?
So you have no spark in any of the cylinders? How was this tested?
Have you checked fuses? Every single fuse should be checked as step 1.
These newer cars have coils and do have fuses.
Good fuse. Both legs have power.
Bad fuse . One leg has power.
No power to either leg, Circuit is not loaded at the moment.

Fuses looked good and i tried new fuel pump relays. I tested spark by taking the coil pacls out and I stuck a screwdriver in there while someone cranked it. I tried keeping the screwdriver in different distances from the spring inside and there was no spark at all. Then I took the plug out of the head and put it in the coil pack and it wasnt arcing. I tested it both before and after I cleaned them up a bit
I do not have a volt meter. And if the crankshaft posotion center was bad, wouldn't the check engine light be on? The check engine light is not on. I have a buddy who has a multimeter that I can use tomorroe. I'll post updates when I get them

the check engine light comes on when the key is in the on/run position, it stays on for I think 20 seconds if you don't start the car, and then goes out if there are no faults, if the engine is started, and there are no faults, the light will go out immediately...not sure if it comes on in accessory, but I think not.
when you tested spark, did you ground the body of the plug to the engine or chassis? if not, you would have no continuity...
