RE: Honda shift knob??

Hey guys I have an aftermarket threaded shift knob for honda/acura. Does anybody know if it will thread onto the Mitsubishi?? Its a REALLY nice knob and i'm used to the weight and style of it so I'd hate to lose it when I give my Acura back.

Keep it and if it won't work on this one maybe it will on the next one. At least you'll have a paperweight you like.

Its just that if it doesn't fit then the knob I'm talking about is gonna stay on the Acura BUT if I can find out if it does fit then I'll spend the 10-15 bucks and the time to find the stock knob for the acura acura and I'll take my aftermarket (Muz) knob off and keep it for the RA.
Its not a huge deal....Its just that I'm really used to it.

It probably wont fit. The thread pitch on the Honda/Acura shift knobs is different from Mitsubishis.

yeah...but it was an aftermarket short shift right...I presume it was the kind where you replace the stock shifter and not add an adapter? If thats the case then that would do it. The threads on the new shaft wouldn't be Honda.
