06 ralliart transmission

Hey so I have a 2006 ralliart and my co worker has a 08 lancer gts. His transmisson blew the other day and he told me that if my transmission would fit on his lancer i could buy it for cheap. I was wondering if it would work. I have a 2.4L

Probably not, I have not personally worked on a 4b11 or 4b12, but my best guess would tell me the bolt pattern is not the same as a 4g engine.
