2.4l tranny bolt up to a 2.0l engine?

Ive been doing some research and cant seem to really find a good answer. Would a 2.4L tranny bolt up to a 2.0L engine?

You would need the clutch cover side of the transmission case for a 2.0L, pretty sure I remember the starter is in a different spot..then you gotta figure out your flywheel and clutch, not sure if 2.4 clutches fit on a 2.0 flywheel...also can't remember if the 4g92 is a 6 or 7 bolt, if they share a bolt pattern you can use whichever flywheel and clutch...could work, assuming the gear shaft and diff bearings are exactly the same, and the clutch cover side of the case fits the main case from the 2.4, which is likely, from what I can remember from having done clutches on both, I however never had both tranny's apart at once to compare. Anyway, it's not a straight swap.
