Clearcoat Blistered

I have a 2004 Ralliart (Black) that is less than 30 days old and found a blister in the clearcoat on the roof of the car. I read the warranty manual and it states paint it not normally covered but if you feel that there is a defect in the paint contact the delar immediately. I was waxing the roof the other day and found a blister about the size of a pea and actually found a portion of that where the clearcoat was gone. Will they re-paint the entire roof? I heard re-painted parts will not last as long as the original paint.

had them do it for my 2002 eclipse...make sure you get it done quick..it is covered under the waranty. Dirt or dust under the paint causes it. If you don't it will crack and you'll have to get it painted anyway.

It just makes me so mad that there is already problems because I take very good care of my car. I wash it about 3x a week. This was the first coat of paste wax that I put on it. I already have almost 3,000 miles on it.

Bingo! Dealership is scheduling me for an appointment at a local paint shop to have it looked at.
