That's strange..EITHER way, my guy delivered one to Quebec yesterday! lol

As for that, I shifted in and around 3000 rpms for the first 1500kms or so....but it;'s not a toy, you can push it a bit, just not over the top. Obviously, during the course of even your car's short life, test driven or moved or whatever, it's seen some high RPM's already. Just don't overdo it.

Just take it easy until your first oil change (1000 miles). Then, you should be good to go.

Enjoy your ride...hopefully the aftermarket parts will start coming out.
Check out Roadracemotorsports.com
I know a dealer in Cali gave them a RA to work on, so development has begun.
Enjoy!
I just installed the Roadracemotorsports CAI. Fit great - feels quicker, sounds excellent.
26 MPG? That's because you only had it 8 days. Once you break it in and start living in the 5K rev range you can count on 120-150 miles on a full tank. Or maybe its just the way I drive?

I took it easy until 1000 miles and the first oil change...and then I started pushing it normally. As long as you don't gun the **** out of hit right out of the pocket, you're fine.

19 mpg is one thing, but to get 120-150 per tank you have to be getting line 15 MPG or less. If you fill EXACTLY 10 gallons you would be getting 150 at best according to freddie. And my car fills like 12 gallons if I run REAL low. I might have my numbers off a little, but not to verfiy the 150 per tank statement, it would actually run the adverse. Bro if you are getting 150 or less to a tank there is something wrong with your car. And Poco, get off the gas a little and you will get much better mileage.

I drove like a granny for an entire tank while I was breaking it in and it only got 365kms till the gas light lit up. When I drive lead foot it's around 300kms a tank.

There's your answer. I drive mostly highway and some back country stop and go roads. I have an automatic too, so I don't think I will ever bring it up to 5000 rpm unless i race.
