i just installed the RRM CAI several hours ago. all i have to say is WOW!! i like it a lot. it sounds awesome, seems to have improved power and throttle response. i'm hopefully going to the dyno on wednesday. i'll post the numbers after that. here is an installed pic. sorry i don't have more but i'd rather be driving than taking pictures.

 

That's great... just the intake huh? That will be interesting dyno to see.

 

yea, if you get a chance. would be nice to save RRM some work. Maybe see if they can cut u a deal on another mod if u have it dyno'd and give them the results? Cant ask too much, but you both benifit!

Do you have baseline dyno numbers? If so, can you post them at the same time? Thanks.

 

no i never got any baseline dynos. i believe several people on here dyno'd the stock RA at 145.8 whp and 148.1 lb/ft. at the wheels. that's all i have to go by at the moment.

 

Does anybody here want to place bets on the HP gain from the CAI? Let's see who's the closest...


I say 3 HP. That places me at 148.8 HP...

Please tell me you're joking, Workz! The stock intake is restrictive as all get out! It should add at least 10 to the wheels...but who knows.

 

My bet is 151.3 WHP with just the CAI. That is an increase of aprox. 6.5 WHP from stock. Give or take.

 

i'm going to the dyno tomorrow at 3:30 after i get off work and as soon as i get back i'll post the numbers, and i'll scan the sheet if my scanner will work for once. i have no idea what gains to expect, so we'll just have to wait and see. i'd be more than happy with a 6 or 7 whp increase.

 

Ha, ha! I sure hope you're right... then I'll just have to go out and buy my own CAI! That would be the best gain for the price...
