Thumbs up About 3 cars to choose from

Now Im choosing between a 04 Ralliart, 04 Nissan Spec-VR, or Mazda 3s. They are all 5 speed or 6 speed on Nissan and 4 doors excepts for the Cobalt. Now the Ralliart is 162 HP+Torque, Nissan 6 speed 175 HP & 180 Torque, and Mazda 3s is 160 HP and i Think 160 torque. Now Mazda 3s looks nice as hell and **** but i heard Mazda engines are not well built and **** like that. Now with you all opinions which one would be able to perform better and be able to be modified more in the future such as Engine components upgrade? Be honest please, thanks though anyways!

I would say either the 04 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart or the 04 Nissan SE-R Spec-V. Mazda3 is just not "comparitive" enough. There is a review for Mazda3 done by British people. That review is in a show call Top Gear. You can download the episode and see what they think about that car.

http://gear.viper007bond.com//downloads.php?display=42 (you need BitTorrent to download this).

There is already on a forum discussing Mazda3 vs Ralliart. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...3&page=1&pp=15. Check it out, might give you some thinking.

The best is advice is to test drive them all and see which one sticks in your mind. Hope that helps

To be honest I've driven all three. I would encourage you to as well. The sentra is in desprate need of an update and Nissan is actually going to do this or scrap the car all together. The Altima is Nissan's best selling car. The Nissan has a very notchy shifter. Some like it and most don't. The Mitsu and the 3s have very nice shifters. They are virtually effortless. The engine in the Nissan is also not set up very well for mods. Weak rods are the culprate. Other people/owners may say otherwise, but this is stoping the forced induction guys as well. The Mitsu is gaining a following and soon Road Race Motorsports will have a Turbo kit available. There will be some mad gains. The 3 is a very fun car. It only lacks the following or it's own website right now. This is partially due to the fact that it is so new. The mazda # can't keep up with the Ralliart. Don't let the numbers fool you. The ralliart has a flat torque curve due to the MIVEC. The Mazda 3 also has variable valve timing. However, it does not include lift like the Ralliart. Choose between the Mazda and the Mitsu. This is a completely unbiased review BTW. I don't own any of these cars, I drive a Hyundai.

ralli art all the way. sentra has more bite but a couple of mods and you can bite right back. i like nissan's older cars like the 240 and 300zx but that's where it draws the line for us over here. we have a far better motor than the other guys. hahaha but you are asking people that run mostly ralli arts.

Hey u guys were great and thanks for the info by the way. I had a feeling that the Ralliart would obviously do better and better mods in the future anyways from what I've seen. I'll test drive both and see, its just the interior of the Mazda 3S 160hp looks nice as hell. Then again I wont be able to change the cd player to an aftermarket and s****. Thanks anyway though

Anyways go with the RA you won't be disappointed.

Out of those three cars I test drove the RA seemed to pull harder.

If not the RA get the 3.
