Accolade - Evo8 Conversion Bodykit
NO , the EVO 8 will not be allowed in 1-2 years..... most likely the evo 9.... i still wish i could get an EVO 8 MR FQ-340..... that'd be the european models with 345 hp.... to bad our MR only gets 271.... but the FQ-340 is also 50,000USD which is roughtly 32,000 Euros or what ever thier currency is.....
Well, Lancer03oz is right. Lancers get to be sold in Canada just because they put reinforment where the FMIC sits for the Evo. So if you want Evos to be in Canada, Mitsu has to think of ways to but reinforcement somewhere else and still maintain the passing front crash test by Transport Canada.
alright so if the evo 9 is coming out i might just get the evo 8 conversion kit thou it looks almost the same
accolades evo 8 conversion looks like the evo 9 in my opinion a few changes

illuminati, Mitsu will not get evo 9 out in 1-2 years, maybe 3 years later. They just recently made evo8, they will not spend another batch of money until they made enough money to cover the cost of developing the evo8. So i say get the conversion kit now and wait till evo9 comes to Canada.
werd to Jesse00.
I find this forum totally cool for info. I find out everything here! hehehe
Speaking of the EVO 8 kit, it's too bad you can't get it all separately. I'm looking at the pics right now and the side sills and the rear bumper look REALLY huge. I guess I wouldn't mind having them as backup in case the stock ones get scratched (or vice versa), but it's a lot of money if you only want the front bumper, hood and spoiler.
It's still a great looking kit, though
edit: actually, looking at comparable pics of the EVO 8 and the Accolade kit, it doesn't look too bad
Rear bumper looks pretty close to the EVO 8. It's just the side sills (whatever you call them) look a bit "accentuated", IMO. But it's beautiful otherwise. I just wish the Accolade pictures didn't have huge 22" rims on there... just my opinion :P
edit2: how easy is it to put a body kit on yourself? (minus spoiler install)
