Well, that's what my sticker says as "Final Assembly Point." Was probably built in one of those, then sent to Kurashiki for something else? Who knows..
btw..no major issues with mine, just a few minor dash rattles...

Mines from japan and havn't noticed anything wrong yet. I some times have some dash rattles alomst sounds like it coming from the windshield but i think its on after it rains, mostlikly the wipers or somthing. and my tires are rsa.

no rattles, although my door does seem to suck inward when I roll down the window. Only a wee bit though

It's my understanding that all Lancers weather it's base, OZ, Ralliart, or Evolution are all made in Japan.

To my knowledge, no Lancers are made in america. Galants, Eclipses, and Endevors are all made at the plant at Normal, along with a few Chrystler models. Unless there is another Mitsu plant, or you built it yourself, it shouldnt have come from the US

FYI: Some Toyotas are made in Japan but assembled in United States (it skips a large amount of tax because your shipping parts and not the whole car).
Maybe Mitsu will do the same. Who knows~

Actually, some of the Toyotas are built in Canada (Ontario province, to be exact).
