S&S package is 2500 bucks isn't it?

My G.F. got her powered electronic moonroof installed for 600 bucks. You can put one hell of a stereo in for that extra 2k....

I got mine without the S&S package. Moonroofs eventually leak & cause rusting problems, and I figured I could put a killer stereo in it eventually.

Might be worth it to get it all factory though, see what kind of deal they give you.

Enjoy your new Ralli///Art!!!

S&S is 1400 bucks.....

I think it's worth it. Saves you the trouble of having audio gear installed, and it sounds pretty good too.

Yeah - the sound quality is excellent. In '04, the S & S also requires side air bags (also a good thing - plus saves you money on insurance). I have it and am very pleased.

I find that most people seem to like the sound , the people who don't are expecting way to much from a 8" sub.

You should have no problem tearing that sub out and putting in aftermarket subs. Keep in mind you'll need to install a second amplifier to power the new subs, as I doubt the stock amp has all that much punch to it, as well as probably cannot handle low ohm levels (probably 8, *maybe* 4, most sub setups run at 2).

Personally, I plan on passing on the S&S package. The moonroof is going to cause more problems down the road than I want to deal with (some people say theirs are already squeaking and such), and for $1,400, I can build/install a much better sound system (which I will). Personal preference, though, I'm kinda an audio snob.

I'm an audio snob too...and I think for balance/tone, etc....it's quite good. Bass? Well, it won't hit like a bonafide 12" would, but it fills it in pretty nicely.

For adding stuff later down the road, all you would have to do is pick up an aftermarket reciever with a sub-out. You can run the stock amp off the front/rear pre-outs (with the soundgate cable adaptor), and that will leave the sub-out free for an additional sub.

My moonroof squeaks every once in a while, but you gotta have a moonroof. What fun is it staring at a grey ceiling?

Also, you have to understand that the S&S is 1400 total. You think like maybe 400-500 for the moonroof? That's 800-900 left for the Infinity system. I'm not sure a system could be built and installed for that amount that could compare (quality-wise) to the Infinity.

I've had 2 systems in my past two cars (one Boston Acoustics/Alpine, and one JL/Alpine), and yeah...they pounded out clean bass like crazy, but they couldn't hold a candle to the tonal balance of this system. Plus....the stock amplifier doesn't clip at high volumes; whereas my past two Alpine HU's did.

I totally agree, the balance of this system beats any system i've had.
Plus you can listen to whatever you want and it comes out sounding good
the alpine system I had I was always fighting between too much bass or too much treble.

dont get the S&S you could spend that 1400 on an aftermarket audio system and it would sound way nicer i think. but unno your car. your money. you dont really need a moonroof do you????
