Lights/Air filter

Ok...i am new, so i couldnt find this anywhere else, so i thought i would just start a thread and let the mods redirect it, and laugh at me.

I have an 04 ralliart, and was wondering if there was any way to make the lights on the cd player/ac/clock all the same red color as the gauges. Also, i always hear people talk about K & N air filters, and how they are supposed to give an instant 10 or so hp. Is there any truth to that, or is there a filter that is worth spending the money on. My car only has about 1500 miles, so the filter change isnt necessary, just looking for some cheap improvements. Umm....i think i had another question, but i cant think of it now...oh well.

yes. there is a tutorial about it on here somewhere wit pics and all. very good tutorial. and as for the air filter it will give you a little bit of HP but not 10. a nicer sound and some HP but not very noticable. (placebo)

there are a million threads about changing the dash lights to red, just do a better search.

just a filter swap will not get you 10hp. it will be minimal if you just change the filter. if you go with a cold air intake you should get a handful of hp.
