EVO rims on a ralliart?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to fit used stock EVO rims on their ralliart. I know they have the same bolt pattern but thats about all I know about it.

Nope, too wide.

Check (search) the wheels/tires forum...there's tons of posts on this topic.

from expereince anything over a 215/45 width tire is going to rub in the back.

I talked to the guys at Les Schwab and the guy I talked to thought that a 17x7 with a +38 with a 235 would fit under the fender. Moving the tires in a little bit might eliminate rubbing on the fender, although it might promote rubbing on the inside of the wheel well.

I got to go to a tire shop that actually let me "try on" a couple of different size tires and the biggest we were ablt to fit PROPERLY were 215/40/17 on a 17x7 rim. Anything with the 45 series was too tall and anything wider than 215 ended up too wide and too tall. In order to fit anything larger you would have to roll the lip of the rear quarter panel under for more clearance. Sorry guys but the *** in the RA sits too low stock.

There is a guy with 215/45/17 and he says it fits perfect. With no rubbing.

A lot depends on the offset-. The stock offset is what- like 43 i believe. So there is no way 17X7's on a 38 offset will fit without rubbing. From my own personal experience- 40 offset, 17X7's on 215/45's will definitely rub. Right now I have 40 offset- 205/45 on 17's and everything is fine- it rarely rubs- only when i have like 3 people in the back, and i hit a massive rut. check out my homepage to see how they look with this set up. It fills the fender good, but doesn't rub.

Does anyone know if the Evo 2,3, or 4 rims will fit on the RA? The Evo IV GSR used 6.5J X 16 OZ 12 spoke alloys with 205/50/VR16 tires.
