injen CAI manual

directions are fairly easy to understand, i believe at step 10 and beyond it is wise to take off your front bumber to make life ALOT easier. other then that the only other thing the directions do not cover is the fact the battery shield will be completly removed. i just finished this install last nite.. any questions hit me up.

I never removed the front bumper. I also left my battery tray in.

If you remove the battery tray, your battery will rub and rub on the metal below and eventually erode and cause one hell of a mess.

I'd rather deal with my intake touching the tray a tiny bit than acid everywhere.

with the mounting that the battery has i dont see how its even going to move at all when its secured tightly down with the stock mounting. but i will keep that in mind if i start to see any ware, with how secure it is now i dont see it happening. thanks though
