just put my new exhaust on

i bought some what i thought bull**** muffler off of ebay. as titled UNIVERSAL APEXI N1 HIPER HKS STYLE FLAME TITANIUM MUFFLER 21.95 for muffler 24.00 for shipping lol anyway brought it to the local muffler shop got it put on for 30.00 umm all i gotta say is ill be damned it sounds awesome. very similar to greddy but odly enough it sounds deeper. go figure sometimes you hit sometimes you miss guess i got lucky on this one guys and girls. i recommend the one i got i got it from AIMSPOT2000 on ebay keep it easy i doubt any real performance gain. umm less torque maybe 1 less torque 1 more hp lol

Yeah, after I put on my rrm axleback (i have no other mods btw) I didnt recognize crap for power, just sound, which was all I was expecting.

if you ONLY put a new catback or mufler on, you wont get much if any gain. I believe its due to bernelli's principle. all you are doing is decreasing the air pressure in the portion where the exhaust tubing is larger.

it will relieve some of the backpressure from the engine, as the exhaust now has a bit shorter path to push the higher PSI gas, but this is not always good. if you get a higher volume intake, the intake gain should be more than if you had stock exhaust. and it would sound more badass ;]

but for under $100 bought, shipped and installed? good deal!!!

You will gain a little especially in the RA since the muffler is the only real restrictive part in the exhaust. Maybe 4 or 5 WHP, but in a 3000 lb car you arent really gonna feel anything big. Dont worry though, its there.

yeah my intake seems louder but it has a different tone i dont know its just weird lol still hear intake over exhaust above 5 grand
