Question remote start + manual trans

I had the mitsu dealer install a Black Widow z5 alarm system and remote starter for me. The install was free, as was the system, due to a BIG mistake the dealer made. Anyway, the alarm works great, but they could not (by law) install the remote start becuase my car is a manual.

Here is the user guide and install manual for my system:

Anyway, I want to install this sucker myself. I have all the parts, but I dont know what I need to do as far as the clutch is concerned. i guess I have to park the car in neutral /w the parking brake on to use this. so:

1) How can I bypass the clutch sensor? Page 7 has details about operating in manual transmittion mode. Im assuming I need to put in another relay for that?

2) Page 20 talks about transponder security bypass. I need to do this in the RA, right? I am pretty sure our cars have this.

anything else I should consider?

thx!

any way to have the starter 'check' that the transmition isnt in gear? Im sure i can use a relay to bypass the switch only for a few secs while the car is starting up. they call it a 'safety switch' for a reason ;]
