Question My New Ralliart Sedan

hey guys...
Bought a 2004 Ralliart Sedan last month. I luv this car! I'm interested in putting a new exhaust system (catback, probably) on the little beast but I'm having the dickens of a time finding a manufacturer that acknowledges the existence of the Lancer Ralliart. Help! Where do I go? What do I do? Whom should I see? Is there a catback system out there for me and my little friend?

There's a catback system that ultimate racing makes... however... Rob @ RRM says that you don't really need a cat-back for the RA because the stock piping is good to go!!! So that's why a lot of people are buying up the RRM Axle Back

Yeah no need for a full catback, the rrm axleback is great sounding, not too loud and not too quiet.

I have found good deals locally from muffler shops. A guy in town said he would do a coustom cat back for me w/ 2.5 in tubes and a Magnaflo for $210 installed.

lrh35 the stock piping is 2.5 that's why everyone's saying there isn't a need for cat back... I'd just save the $$ and get just the Magnaflow on the stock.... That's just my opinion and what I'm going to do... by all means if you're set on it, go for it!

Talking Yep...

I also think the Magnaflow should suffice... unless you intend to reach very high intake pressures, if you know what I mean.

Wow! Thanks giys for the response! I believe that I'll get the axel-back system from RRM. It seems to be what I'm looking for. I can't post pix of the little beast yet because I have to buy a digital camera soon. Thanks for your help.

your almost right. Stock is 2&1/8th not 2&1/2 but thats why I haven't done it yet. No one needs to go that big untill some more engine stuff comes out (like a turbo). I'm just saying local shops can do this for you cheep.

RRM axelback is $299 and if you shop around you could probably find a shop to change out your stock muffler for the magnaflow and put a chrome tip on it for under $200.

I wouldn't take it to a garage, RRM axle back is a simple bolt on. Only take 30 minutes.
