Does any one know if the R1 bumper from Accolade will fit my RA?

 

no/ it is for the evo only. ive already tried that route

NO quite. i bought an evo bumper and tried to fit it on my car. almost bolted up but ran into a problem where our headlights are. ours stick out more than the evo one so you would need to take out a good chunk of the bumper to get ti to fit

 

ok....now, knowing that shouldn't it be reletively easy for Accolade to modify a mold for the bumpers....or at least be able to retrofit them somehow. I'm sure a body shop could.

 

Yeah but why pay the extra money to mod when you could buy a direct fit. thats why you buy them in the first place ya know.

 

I think putting the R1 bumper on the RA would be nice....im going to try it i have a lot of experience with working with bumpers.......ill let yall know what happens!!

Dex, if there was a direct fit available then sure. But last time I spoke to any of the guys at Accolade they didn't seem overly intrested in making the R1 bumper. So, IF it doesn't come out then we're goin' to HAVE to mod it if you want it.

 

Import Trenz and Next Generation Kits have a series called the Drift X which is identical to the R1 bumper. Apprentely there is a version coming out for our cars soon. I emailed them inquiring about it but never got a response. If you guys wait a little you might be in luck.

 

waht about the ings kit. that is kinda similar but all these are here say we need one now.lol f%#$ patience

 

What about the INGS kit? The wings kit from Import Trenz is a copy of the INGS kit. Has anyone ever found good pictures of that kit anyway? The ones they got on their site blow... no side skirts or anything.

 

Supposedly they are comeing out with a new kit as is accolade called the ings kit i think. well i have yet to see any kit from either company. Right now Accolace dominates for the ralliart cosmetic world. If import trenz puts out another kit that is round like the one they have now ima be mizzad
