Yep, I'll become a men tommorrow at 2:00pm. Not because im getting my brand new 2005 RA, but because im also gonna have some crazy payments every months lol ... or not.

Anyways, I can tell you guys one new thing about the 2005 RA. The seller told me that mine came with the "new" sun and sound package. It includes a new cd player for the infiniti system. Can carry up to 6 CD and plays MP3s. Guess Ill have to sell my old one...

You really suck. I wish mine played MP3 discs. 6 of those, and you could drive it cross country and back without hearing the same song twice.

 

Im not kidding its very pretty true. However, he told me its for the FULL sun/sound because you can still ask for the usual single cd player. The one with the MP3/6CDs cost a couple hundreds more. Which it seems Ill be paying. *ahem*

i still plan on putting a mp3 player of my choice into my 04. not a big diff, imho. nice, but if they are charging extra, ill get my own for less and have more of a selection. good to hear that they are expanding the horizon a bit. lets see some pics when you get it! you may be the first to have an 05 RA! congrads!

 

Doesn't the 6 disk in-dash unit that's been available play the MP3's? They have it at Mitsupartsstore for about $350

 

I think the 6 disk was also an option for 04's. I know one was offered to me but it cost $400.

When you get your 05 let me know what grills it has on it. I'm hopeing they have the mesh grills because that means the price on them will come down soon. Thanks

 

no, this one sounds like a completely new HU. I dont' think the in dash changer option for the previous years would play mp3 files.
