Anyone let Their Mitsu dealer tint?

When I bought my Ralliart, the mitsu dealer...well the general manager guy....kept sayin that he'd love to have the dealership tint my windows...im wondering...has anyone else let mitsu tint theirs..and if so, how did it turn out? Or would i be best to go elsewhere? thoughts please...

You're probably better off going to a place that specializes in tint. Someone that applies tint for a living will do a better job than a guy that mostly changes oil and tops off fluids for a living.

Plus, the dealer will probably charge you more.

I would think the dealer would charge more & wouldn't want to go too dark because I wouldn't think they'd want to hook you up with an "illegal" tint...

Talking

I had mine tinted at the dealership but it was through an outside guy who does all the tinting for the dealers 10 or so dealerships, and it helps when I used to work for the dealership itself so i knew the tint guy. but did a great job on my RA Sportback.

Pay the big bucks if your picky I had my tint done through the dealer (outside source) but the shop they brought it too is cheap prices (leave it to the dealer to save a few bucks and sacrafice quality) and i have a couple bubbles and some pretty sloppy trim work. I say find the best guy around and pay the money you'll appreciate it in the end.

No way the dealership would do mine. I went to a specalist and also got a lifetime guarantee.

The dealership will sublet out a PO to a tint shop, they won't physically do it themselves....I used to work for a dealership. If you want a illegal job, you will have to talk to someone yourself.

I went to dealer (Renner in Milwaukee) They brought in a guy and he did my windows in about an hour and a half and it only cost me $175 for all five windows. He did the a great job, not a single flaw in any window, and offered a lifetime guarantee.

Mine was done at the dealer the day before I picked it up. Not a very good job. Some bubbles at rear window, sloppy trim. They are right though most dealers will have a specialist come in and install the tint, it isn't a actual Mitsu tech doing the job.

my 2 cents
