Thumbs up New Magnaflow Muffler

I bought a new Magnaflow Street series off of ebay a few days ago and had it installed today at a shop today. Nice deep tone, not extremely loud, even under WOT. Just a nice rumble compared to the angry bumble bee sound most mufflers have.I just thought I would suggest this to you guys as an alternative to the axle back.

The whole deal installed cost me like 160.00
Its worth every penny of it, and its almost the same thing as the axleback, and i think it looks alittle nicer also.

I will post pics of the car soon.

Btw.

Check out zapperformanceexhaust on ebay. They are selling magnaflows at good prices and they have great customer service and quick shipping.

Later guys.

i just installed RRM's axleback and it sounds sweet. it actually looks the same as the one you have in this picture. the tailpipe is a little modified (extended) so it fits our ralliarts but other than that it looks the same.

The biggest difference that I see is that the RRM axleback comes with a double-walled tip, which ensures that you don't melt your rear bumper.

Do those 2 mufflers quiet down at crusing speed? I'm looking for a nice powerfull deep start however I don't want to be killed with muffler when crusing at High Way Speed.

Im actually very pleased with the sound it makes. I was alittle nervous picking the car up after it was installed. I thought it would be too loud or ricey.. But while sitting in the car during start up it sounds alittle louder then stock. You can barely hear it while in the car driving, even while grabbing gears. But it def sounds nice outside the car.. I do feel that it has gotten alittle louder since the first day it was installed.. Im guessing that's normal or ive just picked up an ear for it.

Thats the same muffler I have, check registry

I'm not a big fan of how it fits/hangs, but what can you do.

Sounds alot better than normal ricer mufflers.

Im not a big fan of how mine hangs there either. I got mine done at a local shop near me. Alex's Custom Exhaust. The guy Alex there wasnt the nicest man ive met. He was very short with me..I went in for a price qoute on installation, he said he'd have to take a look at it.. So the next time I go there he looks under the car and figures out what he needs. Then says " It's 100 dollars, 100 dollars for any installation of muffler. " So im thinking why didnt you tell me this the first day.. So whatever, he says he has time todo it today so I leave it there for 4 and half hours. Come to pick it up and the guy is pretty much just standing there holding his hand out for the money. Oh and he doesnt take checks unless we want to pay tax. So we give him the money and I ask him am I gonna have to worry about it rattling or shaking. And he just stands there and looks at me, very sarcastic face, like are you kidding me kid. So im just like " ill take that as a no " and I leave.. 2 days later it starts rattling alot. Rattles when I first start it up and when im usually in 2 and 3 gear. Ill have to get some better hangers or something.. Ill post pics of the installation and everything tomorrow if its nice..
