projector install

i was looking into ordering a new set of headlights, i burn through silverstars like crazy bc i drive every day and make long trips (150 miles each way) at least once a week and most are typically at night. just wanted to see what all goes into swapping the lights over? does anybody have some pictures to help out?

dont think that would burn out headlights but sure ok. you talking about getting new bulbs? just twist out and replace. i dont see the need of actually getting projectors style headlamps just because your lights are supposedly going out all the time, that wouldnt change a thing, its not like they use less juice to power your lights or anything like that.. oh and a search wouldnt hurt either.

i drive all day everyday w/ my headlights and fogs on...havent had one burn out yet...(i did replace my headlight bulbs but that was for looks...)

our cars are set up so they headlights turn off when u turn the car off and dont kill the battery, so i never turn em off...but i gotta turn the fogs on everytime i start the car...i just think the car looks better w/ the fogs on...(might just be me being crazy..)

changing the housing is not going to make any difference whatsoever on how long your bulbs take to burn out..

I never turn my fogs on, unless it's rainy or foggy.

the clip that holds the fog light button in place just snapped on my RA yesterday. It pushed into the dash so i took that little fake CF trim off to get it out. I have it hanging out of the dash so I can still use it. it sucks.

I don't understand how you burn out headlight bulbs so quickly. I drive 45-1hr/2x's daily, and my silverstars lasted about 2 years.
