I'm thinking about getting these BFGoodrich G-force drag radials for track use. The problem is they don't make it in a 205 50 16 but they do have a few sizes for a 15" wheel. I know a few ralliart guys got 15" steelies last winter for snow tires. My question is, does anyone know of a 15X8" steel wheel that would work for me?

 

steelies are going to be too heavy. I would look around for some drag rims. i never seen 15X8 steelies.

OK I found some wheels that I think will fit but they say they are Rear wheel drive rims. Does that realy make a difference?

 

I don't see how the rims would know they were being used on the front.

 

I don't either. So why are they marked that way?

 

As far as I can tell from a bit of Googling, the difference will be in the offset.
