So I am having a mechanic install my shocks, struts and springs. He takes apart the right front and sees that the upper spring plate is damaged and will have to be replaced. So it looks like I will be making a trip to the scrap yard in the mourning to see what I can find.

Is there anything else I should look for while at the scrap yard?

You should try to source of some of the items on the "Most Wanted" list for our cars such as most of the sensors (MAF sensor, APP sensor, fan relay, body parts (lips and bumpers), HVAC controls, etc) I'm looking for a particular part and if you could get it for me, that would be awesome. It's the plastic pieces behind the REAR tires. It's a fender liner that connects to the cars frame, lip, and bumper. Basically the only plastic piece behind the rear tires. Find those for me and I'll buy them.
