Cusco Power Brace on RA?

Cusco Power Brace on RA?

So Ive seen this Cusco Front Power Brace on several of our Evo brethren. I was wondering if anyone with an RA had attempted to install one? I am merely asking out of curiosity here because they look awesome on Evos and Ive never seen an RA with one.

Here is what the Evo looks like with one:

And here is my RA without the front bumper:

Now Ive only had the bumper off once to do the head lights. But i was hoping someone who has taken there's off a few more times could maybe help me visualize if this thing would fit or not. To me the top looks like it would work. its the bottom that im unsure about. Or if you know of an RA owner who has done this Id love to see a picture of it. So what are your all's thoughts? Think it would work or not?

the evo is wider, so i can only assume it would be the same for the brace...the mounting points are probably less far apart in our RA than on an EVO...provided the same mounting places are there to begin with...
but then again also...an EVO is technically the same car(with extra welds and supports, and a tcase, and rear diff, and wider fenders, etc...right..?)

we just have to peer pressure somebody into buying one and testing fitment..lol

everyone donate me your monies for half the cost and I will front the other half and give it a try!

LOL that'd be nice. But I doubt anyone would be up for it... haha

It be nice if someone knew someone that had it then maybe they could try it on and let us know...

The Evos exterior is wider but the shell is nearly identical, besides some more welds for strength overall. I mean you can convert an RA to an evo the hood, front bumper, headlights and fenders fit all together only though.

See this is how I was thinking. Thats why Im imagining it would work. The top two bolts look like they would be fine. Its the two behind where the crash bar goes that i am concerned about...

CT9A is based on the Lancer Cedia chassis, not the other way around, that's why the interior is interchangeable, as well as the body parts like lanzer said, but the body is flared, so axles, control arms, suspension etc. is different, but a chassis brace like that could very well fit...anyone have a pic of a lancer without the crash bar? lanzer, you're good at finding pictures
