Tires, tires, tires....
So I'm looking to buy a new set of rims (Konig DTP Glides or Tenzo Passion 5), but my only concern is buying a good tire. Can anyone recommend anything? The dude that is going to order the Konig's says that he can give me a good deal on a package that would include Nitto NT NeoGen ZR tires. He says their good but I don't know much about the Nitto's. I was thinking about some Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 or a set of Yokohama Parada Spec-2. Anyone got any advice on tires?

No just a summertire. I'm going to put the stock rims back on come winter. I want something sticky, but at the same time nothing crazy loud. I hate interior noise, I used to own a 1991 Toyota Tercel I swear to god I needed to learn to do sign language just to talk to the person in the passenger seat.
So does anyone know anything about these nitto's?

falken ziex 512's are an excellent choice w/o breaking the bank.
Personally I just tossed a set of "Fuzion" (read: Bridgestones) on my own lancer this past sat.. I couldn't stand another day with those POS goodyear's (I was going crazy... my 240 has Potenza's w/only 25% tread left or so and they were 1000% better than the goodyears.)
Anyhow the Fuzion's are like night and day compared to the goodyears. Falken ziex 512's are very similar. Kumho's are also good but loose some of the kickass wet traction compared to the falken or fuzion's.
If you have the $$$ though I'd seriously consider Toyo's... pricy but sticky as hell.

the falken azenis are amazing..i have an extra set of rims for them to sleep on (hence my sig). they are for autocross use only because they do wear down quicker than other tires..but if u want serious grip for a GREAT price, azenis is it. Road noise isn't too bad, but it is a little bit louder. Not too noticeable tho.

you know i dont mean to be a dicc or nothin but if you paid that much for midgrade tires (example azenis) why not pay the extra 40-60 buccs to get the best they have just some thoughts. basicly come hard or don't come at all
