Decided to take a chance and paint the chrome grill this morning. Came out perfect, which has given me a little more confidence in tackling the middle portion of the bumper. Might attempt it later this week.

Also in an ugly turn of events, my stock wheels were stolen off my car in front of my house a week ago, so i ended up getting a new set of 18's from tire rack. I"ve always been a HUGE fan of the EVO 7 style wheels so i jumped at these when i saw them. Next up after the front bumper is probably a set of RRM springs for a little bit of a drop.

As for the stolen wheels, where they on your car? did they put your car on blocks?

 

Put the car on blocks, actually 2 blocks on the passenger side, and a large flower pot on the drivers side. Awesome right? hha

Wonder how they got them off ? did they have a key? Well at least they didnt take the whole car and left the wheels

 

did you have the stock lug nuts or the anti theft/keyed nuts???

As for wheel locks. Its lesson learned. I didnt have them because i thought to myself "who's going to steal stock wheels". Well now i know haha. So now i have 2 sets of locks on my wheels.

 

What kind of paint did you use, and how is it holding up durability wise? We have billions of bugs here in central florida....i wanna black out my bumper but i dont want the paint to come off with the bugs if when i wash it. Stupid lovebugs =\
