What did you exactly mean by "evo front bumper"? Were you just talking about the nose or the entire bumper itself? Admirable lancer, by the way!

Only a few people knew about this. But about 2 weeks ago a work truck decided they didnt need to tie down any of their equipment while traveling on the highway at about 70 miles hour so as their **** starting spilling out of the freeway and a giant wheelbarrow smashed into the front of the car destroying the Evo nose, gouging the hood and denting the living the hell out of the drivers quarter panel and also leaving reisue of whatever they had in the barrel on the car. The Irony is this happen on my way to pick up my new OEM Evo X hood. My jobs bodyshop did one hell of a job repairing everything and color matching the hood. They even managed to get my insurance to pay for paiting the new hood instead of repairing the stock one. Damn this hood is light i noticed the difference weight the second i drove the car.

Heres a quickshot will take some better pics when i have a chance or when i recieve the next round of mods i have on the way.

I dunno... I personally think the standard Lancer hood looks better, too much going on in the front end of the car with the RA/X hood

Really? hmm i think it adds an extra aggressiveness to the front end. I found the stock hood boring and all the aftermarket ones were just too flashy for me. Thanks for your honest opinion though i appreciate it.

well heres my next mod Depo projectors

nice CF wrap! The hood and front lip look good with those.....now just do your nose!

What offset/width of MB wheels are those? I saw a set of those online and now I think they look pretty good for our Lancers.

So today was the next phase in Suzuka's make over. I introduce you to my Firemist Orange Lancer all paint was bought from TCP global and is not rattle can. This is real paint with primer, reducer, hardner and clear coat. We used the compressor at the house and Hooked up the paint guns for the spray. The whole process took about 7 hours from prepping to drying. There are 2 pieces we have to go over again and the emblems need to be done. The reason being is that we ran out clear coat which is needed for the finish. Phase II will be next weekend so stayed tuned. Plus i got hood dampers on so long ugly looking hood prop i hated that thing

Here are the pics. This paint is actually really hard to get perfect with the camera. Now i know stuff like this is not everyone thing but i wanted to add some life to otherwise boring engine bay with a color that you dont see often on Gray and i found Firemist Orange on TCP.com One of the colors used to get gray is blue and blue and orange match well if you remember RGBIV days from school. My car is more of show car than performance so it fits the theme.

Thanks for looking
