2012 Mercury Gray ES, Plastidipped, Debadged, LEDs
Nice looking ride!
My .02 is to do whatever YOU like. Other people might not like it, but that's why you have your car and they have their own.
Those sTechs are looking pretty necessary though...

This was on my to-do list for a while, finally got sick of the old behemoth box that slid all around my trunk and started my new build over the weekend...
No pictures of the first few steps, my sub had a red rubber surround and a big red "Cerwin Vega Mobile" logo on it. I plastidipped the surround black, laid 3M di-noc carbon fiber vinyl on the "CV" and painted the "Mobile" purple to match my new theme.
Then I started my box and cover plate build.

Tuned to 34hz

My dad getting his spray on

Started and finished the box and cover all on Sunday. Still needed to raise the box up an inch in this photo...

Change my mind a few times on the cover design, and the way I was going to fill the void on the left side...settled on colorshift Mitsu symbol.

***Update, I ran with the logo for a while and started to hate it. I have a friend making me one out of a block of polished aluminum (maybe....if he can swing it)***

I think the weather is getting warmer this weekend, if I can I'll try to snap some photos of the new stuff. Thanks!
Damn dude. Definitely starting to come along. Looks great with the new rims on it. The 15% isn't to dark at night? I have my back passengers and rear about that much and it's a bit dark. Learning to deal.
Thanks guys, right after I thought it was going to warm up so I could do some spring cleaning and snap some photos it snowed...Ohio weather...hate it.
The tint isn't bad, I've always had super dark tint on all my cars so I have a lot of experience with it at night, street lights help tremendously but if it's PITCH black out I'll roll a window down.
