Interesting. I wonder if the US one will get that same engine, or if there's any substance to the rumors of a 4B12 turbo.

I'm quite confident that it will be. Seeing that it's intended to compete with the WRX, I can't see the starting price being over $26,000, maybe $27k if the SST is the only trans option.

Haven't seen you around in a few months. Anyhow, that's exciting to hear. Care to be any more specific on the timeframe? "Soon" as in a week, a month, 3 months etc?

after January 13th "1 1/2 weeks"

I don't want to be too specific as I don't want to hurt my relationship with Mitsubishi.

But here is a hint. It has to do with where the all new transformers cartoon series is based, for us older 80's retro geeks.

Hopefully they offer the five speed here in the US. Too bad they won't have that sportback here.

hmmm. sounds like a way better deal than a X. it even has the sst tranny and AWD.

will this be turboed?

damn well thats out for me then. my insurance company will have a fit if i go near anything with a turbo.

ot: guess i gots to wait for the new lancer with the 2.4! or jus get a 08 with the 2.0... wat do you think? /ot
