Wheels for the 09 Ralliart (GTR-Face)
I know it's early to ask what wheels or offsets would fit on the 2009 Ralliart. Well my question to you guys. Do you think 29++ offset would work on this car? I would like to get a set of ADVAN RS with the GTR Face. Now do we know for sure is the suspension is like the Evo IIIV & IX? I would love to have that Concave wheel look on this car. As soon as the Raliart comes out I would love to put an order in for the Advans

i think the wheels will be the same as the gts. i plan on moving over my 19x8.5 with a 45 offset over and i believe they will fit fine. they have 225/40/19 tires and ill probably keep them and maybe move to a 235/35/19 if it fits, heck 245 would be nice but i dont see that fitting on the car.

So lets say the Ralliart has 45 mm offset so to be safe maybe as far as you can go is 35 mm offset. I have feeling that Advan RS Wheel 18x8 with a 37 mm offset should work on this.

From reading on the Lancer GTS tech forums it seems that an 8 inch wide rim and a 35mm offset is just about as far as you can go or right at the limit. But like others have said the prudent thing to do is wait first.

If I got a RA I'd be happy eventually with a 18x8, probably 225's, 18x8.5 would be great though. Fender rolling really never sounded like a good idea to me
If 215 tires are stock they probably have 18x7 wheels.
And a very mild drop just to get rid of the fender gap I see on the new RA.

fender rolling is easy. get a wooden baseball bat and blow dryer. heat the metal up a bit have some one slowly move car back with the batr rolling along with the tire going up and around the fender well. tell him to move slowly or you will mess up the paint. lol!

The Ralliart's probably different enough that it's all speculation, but the regular Lancer guys have beaten this one to death themselves:

Personally, I'm going to buy 18x7.5 wheels and throw 215/45/18 tires on them, to keep reasonably close to the original specs -- though it definitely sounds as if the Ralliart comes with 18x7's.
225/40/18's (637 mm) and 225/45/18's (650 mm) are a bit far off from the original tire diameter (215/45/18 = 651 mm), and 235's are apparently too wide. You can obviously get away with 225/50/17's (657 mm) or 215/40/19's (655 mm), and Mitsubishi's 16" wheel size works too (205/60/16 = 652 mm). 225/35/19's (640 mm) again seem a bit far off of the original size, but are probably the nicest custom size to go with for looks. All of the 215 and 225 tires should work just fine on 7.5" rims (215 also works fine on 7" rims).
