I would like to have the Recaro package. Sunroofs are nice, i had one on my Mazda 3 and enjoyed it, i don't have one on my rx8 and i sort of miss it.

Either way, i like the navigation/ hard drive, but i don't like the way it looks or the price tag.

If i could get a fully loaded Ralliart for 27k i would probably take it, im hoping to get one with the Recaro package in orange color for around 26-27k(im figuring a 25k start price, would be nice if it was lower but i doubt it).

If i had the money, fully loaded as well

I prefer the Recaro package first though, Navigation is cool because im moving to the San Francisco bay area, which i know nothing about the area, and i like the hard drive.

At the same time i have an Ipod touch for music reasons, so i could use that instead of the hard drive.

If i could get a loaded Ralliart for 27k i would consider it, but i am trying to keep the cost down.

I wish the sunroof was included in either package but its not

Wish that Mitsubishi would realize this is a 2009 model, and not a 2001 model, and put an iPod adapter in place of that useless hard drive. I mean, the minority of people with music players that aren't iPods can always go out and buy one, rather than foisting a useless hard drive on the majority, who own iPods. Heck, for much less than what the hard drive unit will cost us as an option, they could include a free iPod and adapter with every car. Personally, I'd get as much use out of an eight-track unit as I will out of the hard disk.

Fully loaded. Thats the only reason I'm even looking at this car. This car is for a niche market and you kind of waste buying the damn thing to get it base model. If you are that much of a purist get a EVO. And if you can't afford it then get a lancer DE or whatever. I think penny pinching over 25500 vs 27000 is worthless because in the main scheme of things that extra thousand dollars doesn't mean jack. Adds up to like 20-30$ more a mo in payments. Big whoop.

Good point, and up here in Canada you're also stuck buying a second set of tires (and alloy wheels, if you have any sense) for winter on top of whatever other mods you might make.

General rule of thumb: if you can barely afford the base car, then buy something cheaper but load it with features and/or mods -- much more fun.

Lancer DE/GTS has far less power(and it doesn't come in Oraaaaaaange). Im not into modding like some people

#1, this car, like my RX8 will use 91 octane gas and will consume a lot of it. However i drive an RX8 like i said so it will be an upgrade

#2. I am a college kid, not a college grad who can afford a 35k car.

Base is probably around 25k, fully loaded is around 29k, and than you have sales tax.

I'll look into prices and maybe ill have to go all out if thats the only ones they offer in orange.

#1, I drive a mzdaspeed 3 which uses as much gas as your rex so I understand
#2, I'm not in college, working pays more.

You can prob get it 30 OTD with a good haggle. If thats not good then save for another 6mo-yr to put enough coin down on it

You genuinely believe all the options will only cost $1,500?

Yeah if you test drive a Ralliart, let me know how it compares to the Speed 3 if you can.

I owned a Mazda 3 S before, so i don't want another Mazda. However if the Speed 3 has some power than i may consider it.

Yeah, I gotcha now. Second comment wasn't directed at you though...TruboPower was quoting fake pricing, and I'm disagreeing with him.

How many hours a week are you fitting in? Ive talked to a couple guys, one at a university and on at a state school, both said they have been able to fit 25-30 hours in a week.

Right now im in Community College, work load is not that high, and i can afford this car.

When i get to a Major University in the next year or so, i want to make sure i will be able to work enough for gas and paying the car.
